HAPPY 1ST MOTHERS DAY!

The day I became a mommy is the most memorable moment in my life! Joey and I have wanted to be parents for what seems like forever! Finally 2011, we got this gift from Heaven above! Here is my precious baby girl when I knew this is everything I always wanted and so much more! Happy Mothers Day to all those wonderful mommies out there! To be this is the most valuable gift of all! It so much more than I ever thought it would be! How awesome that I am so blessed and finally apart of this club of MOTHERHOOD! A little wait, but worth it!


My favorite Mother's Day Picture! In the back yard that my husband worked so hard to make for the three of us! Lots of sweat and muscle work went into this the entire week! Thank you so much for this wonderful yard that we get to see our baby girl grow with lots of future memories! You are the husband of my dreams! I love you more than words can describe! I try to tell you and show you everyday but know it will never be enough! Lots of love from the bottom of my heart! Thank you for bringing out the most and best in me! Joey is so romantic, he took us on a MOTHER'S DAY picnic at the Lake! It was so awesome and thoughtful! Here is Zoe flashing her big sun glasses!

He even got a really cute picnic basket and table cloth! Last night he made pasta salad, chicken salad, and cut up some yummy watermelon for us! He even got my favorite rootbeer!

She liked putting her feet in the water and squeezing her toes in the sand! The funny part was that she wanted to sit in it!

All right, Zoe is going to be 12 weeks tomorrow! Wow, 3 months old! Time has flown by! I need it to slow down so I can enjoy every second! She weighs 12 pounds! WOW! She is wearing 3 month size clothing from one of her new best friends, "ZAELYNN," who actually wore these same outfits at 6-7 months... ha ha ha! Zaelynn was such a tiny cuite! Mothers Day morning!

11 Weeks Old!

Today was the coldest day so far that Baby Zoe has experienced, 45-64 degrees! It gave me the perfect chance to put this adorable winter suit on her! This the first time and probably the last time she will get to wear this! Thanks Zerique for this cute outfit from Zaelynns collection:-)
She loves standing up and feeling the wind in her face!

Today she is 11 weeks old, weighing in at almost 12 pounds! She is growing so fast! She loves talking to her Octopus and tigger toy! She also loves staring up at her turtle mobile when she is in her swing!

Happy Easter and 10 WEEKS OLD

HAPPY EASTER!

So a few days before Easter, baby girl and I went for a walk and we always get the mail on this walk! Lo and be hold, we had a mailbox full of packages all addressed to "ZOE." This baby girl is so loved and celebrated by everyone! Look at this little girl getting tired of waiting for daddy to get home so we can open her EASTER gifts!

Finally the next day actually we got to open them... let's just say she was exhausted and frustrated after all this excitement! lol

April 23- the day before EASTER! Such a precious baby!

Baby Zoe is 10 weeks old on April 25th! It has been so awesome to watch her every move and all of her firsts!

Prefences of Zoe Grace:
She loves to stand all the way up while we hold her hands. She loves to sit up in her Bumbo seat, while her little head bobs. She can not stand not being able to see all the things around her. When she is her fussiness, do not put her on her back in anyway or angle! Your only choices are: way up over your shoulders or in her standing position. If that does not work then you can rock her next to the loud sounding fan or vacuum cleaner depending what room you are in.


In the middle of the night, I have to make sure there is no light visible while nursing her or else she gets totally intrigued by it and begins to play instead of eat! It's so cute but frustrating at 1,2,3,4, or 5 in the morning. HAHAHA!


Baby girl does not sleep the entire night but does so awesome when comparing her to the first colicky baby we brought home from the hospital up to like 6 weeks old! It is still alittle act getting her to sleep, but it's a work in progress. Now she wakes up only for a clean diaper, to nurse, or just be held for a little while! She goes right back to sleep! Now this is all still in our room... we are working on getting her to the crib... for now she sleeps in her bassinett near mommy. And why not, I mean she is still so small and dependent on us! But really, we will try the crib thing soon. I will keep you updated on our lack of sleep nights when this takes place!


She loves the color blue when it comes to toys! There is something about that color that totally catches her attention and cuteness!!! Her favortie toy to date is the Baby Einstien Octopus! That's her guy! She loves him so much! Then it would have to be her mommy! She absolutely loves her mommy! Just joking! But it feels that way to me... shh, do not tell daddy! She also likes the big huge blue whale on her play mat and now her orange "ZOE" toy that daddy had to buy her! She is just so cute with her toys! She will sit there and have a staring contest or conversation with them!


Baby Zoe's routine or somewhat schedule:
After her night and early feedings, she will wake up between 6:30-7:30am to eat and sometimes play for like 15-20 minutes. Then she goes back to sleep and does not wake up until between 9:30-10:00am. This is when mommy does chores, runs, exercises, plays on the computer, eats, and/or sleeps with her depending on the night:-)

Mommy comes in the room and greets her with lots of hugs, kisses, and smiles! I always tell her "GOOD MORNING" as I open all the curtains to let the sunlight in. This is when she is up and the most playful happy baby until around 12:30ish when she starts to get fussy. Very fussy... usually resulting in a lot of rocking and mommy holding time! Sometimes she naps for 1-2 hours after, you just never know!

Up until 7pm, I am usually trying to preoccupy her with lots of exercise, entertainment, hugs, kisses, feedings, soothing/calming things, and even naps. Then I like to take her for a walk in our neighborhood in the stroller or baby carrier. Sometimes daddy comes with us!

After that it's more juggling because this is when she is the most fussiest! Eventually daddy gets to feed her a bottle then we juggle some more and eventually in a pitch dark room, mommy is able to finally get our little angel to sleep!!!

Baby Zoe is able to sleep for 3-5 hours at a time and then we get to start this beautiful experience all over again the next morning:-)


Baby ZOE,
Mommy and Daddy are still so excited to get this precious gift with you each and everyday! Keep practicing all of your exercises to grow more and more each day. Mommy actually wants you to stay where you are because, I love holding you and being there for you so much. It's hard to think that with each day that goes by, that is another day we will never get back. SO I promise, I will try my best to take it all in and give you everything I have each and everyday!

So baby girl, go ahead and keep growing healthy and older with each moment! Mommy will still be here for you to hold you and console you when ever you need! Daddy can not wait to play with you! He is getting excited with each moment that you become more playful and attentive! He loves all your smiles, faces, and body movements of excitement when he is around! Keep being the baby that your are. We love every part of you!

Tummy Time

Zoe is at the end of about 8 minutes of Tummy Time! She is 8 weeks and 2 days old here!

Today she went for her shots and two month check up! She is doing awesome!

Weight: 11 pounds

Height: 22.67 inches

Baby Zoe,

It hurt mommy so much to see you in so much pain today in the doctors office because of your 3 shots you had to get! You are such a strong baby girl and I am so proud of you! 4 hours later your little legs and body was so sore that you cried for 1 hour! Mommy and Daddy were so sad to see you so uncomfortable! I cried because I felt helpless and wanted to take all your pain away!

Mommy thinks she is strong but today realized it is so hard to be strong when the baby of her dreams is in so much pain! You are such a small precious baby that has to depend on the world around you to help you develope your strength and skills. Dealing with pain is one of those things that is the most hardest to teach one to cope/deal with. How do you tell such a small person, "It will be ok, mommy is here! Or it's ok, we love you so much!" Words can not take away such pain. It broke my heart... Zoe I never want to see you in pain and will never put you in pain, however realistically some pain is unpreventable and is a must to help you in this world! But Mommy will do everything in her power to help you know that we are here to comfort you and make it better!

May God give you the strength to realize we are here, you are so loved, and you are so strong! I pray you feel better by this evening baby girl! Mommy will be by your side to comfort you in this new experience in your life! Things will be better with each minute Zoe! I can not wait for you to be able to talk and let us know what discomforts you have but at the same time, go slow baby girl! Mommy wants to enjoy each and every moment!

ZOE is 8 weeks old!

Zoe is 8 weeks and 1 day old in this picture above! I had to add this one! She is so adorable!

I know they say, "Don't cry over spilt milk!" But when I accidently spilt this hard earned collected milk all over our kitchen island... I so wanted to cry! I scarred Joey when I reacted like someone stabbed me. I literally had tears in my eyes as I explained what just happened. As everyone says, "this stuff is liguid gold and so sad when it is wasted!"

Baby Girl is now 8 weeks old and weighs about 10 pounds and 4 ounces! She has gained almost 3.5 pounds since birth. She is holding her head all by herself for brief periods! She loves being held so that her body is in a standing position! She loves to see all the things around her! One week has passed since my last update and since then she has smiled more and more each day on purpose! It is so adorable! I recently took her outside and found out she loves the way the wind blows on her face! She has the cutest reaction when her hair is being blown all over!I love seeing the way she reacts to her environment. It is so amazing how fast babies grow with each day! I am treasuring each and every day! I know with each day, it is another moment quickly gone that will never come back! I love my baby girl and am so blessed to have such a wonderful gift!

8 WEEKS OLD! Coach Derrington gave this to me at my school and said, "Just in case she is born early!' Little did she know, she was right! 2 months later, Zoe is wearing her Valentine Onesie! Happy 2 month Birthday!!!!

Baby Zoe,

Mommy and Daddy love you so very much! Everyday you grow more and more! It is so exciting to see you learning everything for the first time! Keep growing at your pace and stay strong my baby girl!
