April 4th, 7 weeks old

Baby Zoe has been growing so fast! She currently weighs about 10 pounds! Mommy is in extreme need to lift weights in order to carry her around in her carrier! What a great reason to get in shape! Speaking of getting in shape, mommy has been running for one week so far! The most that I have done, is 2.5 miles! I am really trying to take my time and move up in distance in baby steps! I plan on starting a few weights this week and building from there! Who knows, maybe I will be able to get my most of my lost muscle back:-) Well below are the dozens of pictures that mommy and daddy have taken of Baby Zoe! She is such a dream come true! I can not say how much it means to us to have her with us and as our daughter! She is the baby of our dreams and all of prayers have been answered by having her here with us! The following pictures below are starting from St. Patricks day which is when she was 31 days old, and ending with today which is April 4th, which she is 49 days old. I hope you love to watch the magnificent growth of our baby ZOE!

ZOE,

Today you are 7 weeks old! Each and everyday is such a blessing! I love waking up to you each and every morning! When you sleep, I could watch you forever as you look so angelic and peaceful! You make a bunch of new sounds more and more each day, it is so adorable! You are such a cutie! I can not believe you are ours! God is so awesome to have blessed us with such a precious baby girl!

You are more alert in your awake times during the day! It is so cute how you are starting to smile more on purpose! I love the way that you laugh and make little sighs in your sleep! Mommy has been so lucky to spend each of these days with you and the next 6 as well before going back to work. I am going to be so sad to not have you with me! But lets not talk about that right now.

In the last three weeks you have been conquering colic somewhat:-) Mommy and daddy have fed you mylicon and gave you the wonderful sound of the vaccumm to help calm you and soothe your little tummy. You have managed to sleep the last two weeks off and on for the most part from 11pm to 7am. You have outgrown your newborn clothes and am almost fitting clothes the size of 0-3 months. It is so cute how small clothes look on you because you are a little too big. Also cute when we put you in bigger clothes because they are baggy in so many places on you:-)

We so many pictures of you that we could probably give everyone in our city a different picture of you! We want to capture each and every moment of your precious life! Our gift to the world is sharing captured moments with them.

Mommy and Daddy are the luckiest people on earth! We love you so much and look forward to each and every breathe with you!

I hope you love all of these pictures! There are so many more to come my precious baby girl!

Love,

Mommy and Daddy

March 4th, 18 Days Old, Baby Zoe is such a precious baby girl!

My mom gave me and baby Zoe flowers and a balloon when you were born!
The Hughes family gave us a floral arrangement when you were born!
And, Daddy got us some Valentines!!!

So this is what I looked like one week before Baby Zoe was born and two weeks after she was born! Not bad for not doing anything:-) I still have 6 pounds to lose before I am back at pre-pregnancy weight, but like I tell everyone.... I am not in a hurry and do not plan on training until it has been 6 weeks or more since delivery! I figure my body has been changing over 9 months, why would I rush my body while it is healing and reordering itself!

Dear Baby Zoe,

I has been almost 3 weeks since we have met you! You are the greatest gift from God above! We are so blessed to have such a precious, beautiful, and healthy baby girl! Each and everyday is a land mark in my eyes and I will continue to appreciate each one we get! Thank you for being the answer to our prayers! We will keep watching over you and making sure you are nurtured in every way possible.

Love Mommy!

Here are some things that have taken place in the last 3 weeks!

  • You were born on Valentines Day, with the help of a good friend Danielle as our nurse! Methodist Hospital

  • Your new friend was born 6 hours after you

  • You Grandma Lori, Grandma Rhonda, Grandma Tina, Grandpa Joseph, Uncle Jeff, Cousin Janene, Cousin Aaron, Aunt Zerique all came to see you in the hospital!

  • You had a EKG and Echocardiograph done on your heart because you have a VSD heart murmur (3mm hole), we have a check up appointment soon to see if it has gotten smaller. Mommy and daddy were so worried for you, mommy probably over worried!

  • You met your pediatrician and have seen him twice already!

  • You were 7 pounds and 20.5 inches at your 2 week appointment (gained 9 ounces since you left the hospital)

  • At 17 days you were 8 pounds, yay for picking up breastfeeding better!

  • Janene and Aaron came to visit you at our house!

  • Mary and Chris came to visit you at our house, 3 times so far.

  • You helped mommy doggy sit "Black Dog" for Mary and Chris.

  • You finally slept 2 days in a row from 12:30am to about 5:30am, thanks to Mylicon and the vacuum! lol

  • You took a few naps in your crib and got to listen to the sounds of all the birds outside your window!

  • You can pick up your head on tummy time and move it from left to right!

  • You have used your swings, bouncers, playmats, and playard!

  • You went on your first walk around the neighborhood with mommy and daddy in your jogger stroller!

  • You visited Target, Tmobile, Walmart, Babiesrus, Costco, and a few restaurants for the first time!

  • You make the cutest sounds when you sleep!

  • You prefer to sleep next to mommy or on mommys tummy during the night and most nap times since your have been showing the signs of your colic. You can tell when mommy tries to put you on your back anywhere besides near her, by crying instantly or within 3 minutes. Mommy loves you and will hold you whenever, but wants you to be able to lay by yourself also:-) We will work on that this week!
